Explanation and Public Hearing Regarding Program Restructuring and Department Establishment


  • The “Bachelor Degree Program in Financial Technology Application” is the first and only department in the country dedicated to cultivating national financial technology talents. It is currently in its seventh year, and the number of faculty, students, and its overall scale are growing. We are very grateful for the support of all students, parents, teachers, and colleagues.
  • To ensure the continuous development and deepening of financial technology education, we are currently undergoing the relevant application procedures to newly establish the “Department of Financial Technology Application” in the 2025 academic year and integrate the existing “Bachelor Degree Program in Financial Technology Application” into the department. According to the law, a public hearing (information session) must be held to inform faculty, students, and colleagues.
  • This case does not involve changing the department name. It only changes the organizational classification under Article 11 of the University Act from a degree program to a department. The curriculum and the rights of faculty and students will remain unchanged, and there will be no impact on related educational rights and the right to education.
  • The public hearing (information session) is scheduled to be held between September 12th and 19th, 2023, according to the times determined by the required courses or class meetings (students) and program meetings (faculty and colleagues) of each class (detailed schedule and times have been individually notified to each class group). Students, advisors, faculty, and colleagues of each class are requested to attend, sign in, and express their opinions.
