Financial Science Program, 4th Year, Lin Hsiang-Ting
- The curriculum of the Financial Science Program emphasizes the integration of theory and practice. Under the encouragement and guidance of the department head, I applied to participate in the “Concord Securities” internship program to gain firsthand experience of the securities industry and learn how to combine theory with practice. Additionally, by getting to know a new environment and friends, and discovering where I could contribute to society, I aimed to cultivate and enhance my skills.
- We are grateful to Concord Securities for their dedicated care of students. They specifically held a “Summer Industry-Academia Collaboration Completion Ceremony” on August 18, 2023. Through the presentation of the internship students’ learning outcomes, a judging panel composed of Concord Securities executives conducted on-site Q&A and scoring. Following the sharing of internship experiences by the interns, awards and certificates of completion were presented. We would like to once again thank Concord Securities for their sincere care, guidance, and cultivation of students.
- Ms. Lin Hsiang-Ting from our department, along with students from our university and other universities who formed a team for the internship, focused their special project report on innovative finance. Their report, titled “Xiao Kang Pointing Home – Navigation Assistant for Sales Representatives and Investors,” received high recognition from the judges. Its completeness and feasibility were deemed the best, with the potential for the fastest time to market and integration with existing systems. As a result, they achieved first place and prize money in the competition among all internship teams, demonstrating outstanding performance!
