  • The 2025 Financial Consumer Forum is jointly organized by Ming Chuan University’s College of FinTech, the Consumers’ Foundation, and the Taichung City Government Digital Development Bureau. This forum focuses on preventing financial fraud, with expert analysis and discussion covering financial transactions, virtual assets, artificial intelligence, trusts, social media, and fair customer treatment, proposing relevant recommendations for protecting consumer rights.

  • 【In-Person Attendance Notes】

    • If in-person registrations exceed the capacity (300 people), priority will be given based on registration order. If registration is full when we receive your application, we will notify you separately.

    • If you are unable to attend, please notify us as early as possible to cancel your registration so that the slot can be released to other participants.

    • This event provides professional development certificates for school teachers and lifelong learning hours for civil servants, calculated based on on-site attendance records. Certificates will be issued electronically after the event; civil servant certification hours will be uploaded after calculation.

    • Event announcements are subject to the official website. The organizers reserve the right to make flexible adjustments.

  • 【Online Attendance Notes】

    • After successful registration, the online link will be sent via email and posted on the official website by November 17 (Monday). Please provide a correct email address and check your inbox.

    • During the online forum, you are welcome to ask questions in the chat section. Questions will be recorded by staff and, time permitting, answered by panelists during the discussion session.

  • 【Civil Servant Hours Certification and Teacher Professional Development Certificate Notes】

    • This event provides professional development certificates for school teachers and lifelong learning hours for civil servants. In-person participants should sign in on-site; online participants will use a separate online sign-in form (Google Form), with hours calculated based on form records. Certificates will be issued electronically after the event; civil servant certification hours will be uploaded after calculation.

    • If you are not a civil servant or teacher and do not require hours or certificates, sign-in is not necessary.

    • Online participants must sign in during the forum activity time (1:00 PM – 1:30 PM). Sign-ins outside the designated time cannot be certified for hours or certificates.

  • 【Other Notes】

    • The organizers reserve the right to adjust the agenda and speaker arrangements. Other unspecified matters will be subject to information announced at the event.

    • If you have fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, cough, or other respiratory symptoms, wearing a mask is recommended. If your forehead temperature exceeds 37.5°C (99.5°F), we kindly ask that you stay home and rest.

    • In the event of natural disasters or other force majeure circumstances, if the Taichung City Government announces suspension of work, this event will be canceled without further notice.
